For World Art Day, Cath Kidston held a competition collaborated with Art supplier brand Winsor and Newton. This entailed the public to submit entries of their own take on one of Cath Kidston's original patterns or to design an entirely new design.
I decided to design a unique pattern for my submission, inspired by the tropical nature and beauty of Brazil.
My design was chosen by the creative director and the team at Cath Kidston as the winner.
The pattern has features of native elements relating the pattern directly to Brazil such as banana, cashew fruit and the parrot.
